At a recent wedding, the 30-something groom and his best buddy had our group in hysterics describing their middle school high jinx, including an April Fools Day prank in which they decorated the principal’s office with Playboy centerfolds and condoms. His Mom described sitting with several very stern male administrators as they admonished the boys for their poor judgment and made sure Mom understood the “seriousness” of this infraction of school rules. (You know, the one that says “No student shall decorate the principal’s office with Playboy centerfolds and condoms!") The boys were suspended for several days (in school, thanks to Mom) and duly shamed for their misdeeds.
